Duties and Responsibilities:explaining the procedure to the patient. positioning the patient properly. positioning radiation protection devices such as lead shields. setting x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patients body. 

Salary:Median hourly rate: $28.35 USD

 Median salary $58,960 USD

Education:According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), X-ray technician educational requirements vary by state; however, the federal government requires all of these techs to be properly trained. Certificate, associate's degree and bachelor's degree programs are available, with the associate's degree being the most prevalent.
