Personally i don't think that true independence and freedom can exist. In order to have true freedom we as a species need to learn to not to judge, discriminate or segregate. Truth be told i really;truly believe  that this will never happen, because in order for one person to have freedom another must give theirs up. Im sorry to say but thats just the way it is. And it might (and that is a colossal might) end if all the war and fighting can just stop. But I highly doubt that because the human race is power hungry, everyone who is anyone believes that the world should have one leader and one leader alone.
